I'm Zainab — a revert Muslimah, mother, and the woman who built what she couldn't find.
I took my shahada at 19. I spent years navigating Islam without a sisterhood — in a community that was hard to break into, figuring everything out alone. I kept a face on. I always looked prepared.
Then motherhood broke me open.
My salah was slipping. I was struggling in ways I couldn't name. And I had no one safe to tell.
So I made myself a journal. Not because I had a business idea — because I needed something between me and Allah that didn't require me to feel vulnerable in front of anyone.
That journal became The Deen Diaries.
